Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Nov 11
(200% new oak): Opaque purple. Hypnotic aromas of dark fruit preserves, incense, spicecake and smoky oak. Lush, palate-staining boysenberry and cherry-vanilla flavors reach every corner of the palate, with juicy acidity providing lift. Very rich but impressively vibrant wine with superb finishing thrust and chewy persistence. Offers a striking balance of power and energy.
